Stylish travels

Happy Tuesday- Shoesday, Lovies!

As I promised, I’ll keep you up to date on my adventures frequently this month! So far, my seaside trip has been absolutely epic! I finally have decent wifi and enough peace and quiet to share a travel outfit with you. When you know it’s gonna be a long trip, it’s important to be comfortable. Style doesn’t always mean walking 10 cm off the ground with perfect hair and make up. As seen below, sometimes a tinted moisturizer, hair in a bun and a basic look is where the charm is!

This is me after going to bed at 1 am, waking up at 330 am to catch a train at 5 am, spent a day exploring Burgas on foot (a detailed entry on the city coming soon), and switched two buses to get to my final destination- the beach!

Outfit details:

Jean Pascale cardigan, Zara basic top, Guess denim and flip-flops and Michael Kors bag

Jewelry details:

My Name Necklace, LiveLokai bracelet and mini pearl earrings from Swan

More to come very soon, so stay tuned! Add me on snapchat and Instagram (@SilviaMelange) for sneak peaks and daily updates!

Love, Silvia Mèlange
P.S. If you made it till the end, here’s a snap of me on the 5 am train. This is the fastest speed it would go 🙀

Midweek shenanigans

Wednesday night and your best friend who you haven’t seen (Skype doesn’t count) since 2013, is in town for two days. What do you do?! You get online and you find the most fabulous place having a “Ladies night” and get ready for an adventure. It’s the middle of the week and your head is up in your work projects so you need a plan of action:

A quick shower upon arriving home, followed by a strong iced coffee can do miracles after even the roughest work days! After you are all pampered and refreshed you have a totally different outlook on life!

The following tip never fails me: even if you are exhausted and you feel kinda down, dress up and before you know it, you will feel just as glamorous as you look!

Go ahead, slip on that gorgeous JLo Collection dress, put your favorite almost-summer heels (in my case an open toe Guess stilettos), pair it up with a cute clutch (faux fur) and add some statement jewelry.

My “theme” for this summer?! Flirt❣ Flirt with colors, lengths, fabrics and boys if you are single ;] But focus on the top part of my statement!

Your cab’s here!

Urban Spring

Happy Monday, Lovies!

I’m extatic to announce that Friday was the last “cold” Spring day! Summer is officially en route and before you know it, all the gorgeous green hues on the trees will turn yellow from the heat. I couldn’t let all that beauty go waste, so today’s outfit pics were shot in my favorite city garden here in Sofia!

I took advantage of the chilly weather to wear my favorite A-symmetrical light knit sweater from Forever21’s newly opened store here in Sofia, paired up with skinny low waist denim from H&M, Sisley thick heel ankle boots and a Nine West bag. Spiced up my look with my favorite name necklace in white gold, a choker from H&M and Swarovski earrings for a trendy finish.

I hope everyone is having a productive week and looking forward to some fresh Summer looks coming your way 💋

Denim Spring

Happy Friday, Lovies!

I had a half day at work so I used the extra time to enjoy this gorgeous Spring day and of course took a few shots for you 🙂

It all started last year but this season denim is back full force! It’s one of the most comfortable, universal materials out there and I love styling up a casual denim look with a little silky twist. Today I’m wearing a Gap denim jacket, Esprit hoodie and bag, Miss 60 denim skirt I have from my teens, Triuph stalkings for a silky feel and comfy American Eagle flats. I have a handmade silk Striessing scarf in my bun and I’m wearing H&M shades I got because of the frames 😂 Jewelry is my favorite My Name Necklace from white gold and basic earnings from Zara.

Be on the look out for a tutorial on how to do a “Scarf bun” coming up on the blog soon! I hope everyone is going to have an epic weekend!!

First Spring look

Hey Lovies!

It almost feels like Mother Nature skipped Spring and went straight to Summer this year. It’s 26° C today! I took full advantage of that and enjoyed my lunch out in the park. I also had some time to take a few shots of my outfit! I’m wearing a Miss Sixty tee and Soaked in Luxury denim skirt I’m obsessed with! I call it my chameleon skirt because the zippers are adjustable and it can go from pencil to a classic denim skirt in 3 seconds! Don’t forget the Giuseppe Zanotti blue suede shoes. The stripped shirt is from Mossimo as mornings are still chilly!

I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather and if you are still snowed in stay hopeful, warmer days are coming!

Women’s Day look

Yes, I know I’m a day late but Happy Women’s Day! How was everyone’s day yesterday? I had a fabulous day- I was off work, a lovely gesture from my boss and I  went out for drinks with the squad! There were also surprises from my s/o when I came home ❤ Don’t you just love being a woman?! I also took a few snaps of my girls-night-out look on my way out. I’m wearing a custom made Little black dress. I fell in love with the shimmery gold hints blending with the solid black base and purchased the fabric from a small shop in Venice last year, before I was even sure what I’m going to use it for 🙂 It fits perfectly with a Yves Saint Laurent clutch and Guess ankle booties for an effortless and chic week night out.

What did you do on our day? What did you wear? Let me know in the comments below 🙂

Stay glamorous, my Lovies!

Grey fever

Happy Friday, Lovies!

I am obsessed with the all grey outfit trend that’s spreading like wild fire! I’m sure many of you notice the color more and more in Vogue and on the latest runways. “Grey is a boring color and it looks dull” – the most friquent argument against it I’m hearing. But as we see time and time again over the last few months, when styled right it’s fun and chic, perfect for an office look and casual street style. There are various ways to look fab in an all grey outfit! You can add a pop of color in shoes or accessories, pair it with statement jewelry, belt it and more. For today’s ootd, I chose to mix textures and add a splash of black here and there 🙂

I’m wearing Express fishnet sweater with a basic black tank underneath, skinny denim from H&M (super skinny, low waist) and Guess riding boots.

Do you, Lovies, adore grey as much as I do? What are your favorite ways to style it up? Let me know in the comments! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Flannels and pearls

Hey, Lovies, Friday is almost here!

As I mentioned earlier this week, my schedule is slowly getting back to normal, meaning I’ll be back to regular posting before you know it!

I took some shots for you during my lunch break as it was a casual laid back day 🙂

I’m wearing a Zara sweater on top of a basic flannel shirt from American Eagle, Versace denim (regular fit, dark wash), Guess riding boots and long faux pearl necklaces to complete the look.

Hope everyone is having a great week and some plans for the weekend ;]

Valentine’s Day look

Happy belayed Valentine’s Day, Lovies!

Single or not, I hope everyone had a lovely Sunday! My s/o and I are not big on all the craziness surrounding February the 14th, so we had a lovely dinner at home, followed by some drinks at our favorite bar. I wore a custom made wool dress, my favorite Guess ankle boots and a faux fur clutch I found at a local market. The gorgeous details on my dress paired perfectly with my Swarovski earrings and I added my favorite Lokai bracelet for balance 😉

Feel free to follow me on Instagram (@SilviaMelange) for daily updates and randomness.

Spring shopping look

Greetings Lovies!

This past Saturday I finally had a few hours to dedicate to Spring shopping! I visited a new mall and I’m excited to share I found a few brands I thought I can only get online in my country.

There’s too much walking and fitting room hassle involved on major shopping days so I like to keep it simple; shoes that are easy to slip on and off, clothes that take minimum time to be put back on. Last Saturday I wore my trusted Forever21 cable-knit hoodie, my favorite denim from Miss Sixty (Eden Style) and tall chocolate brown Ugg (tall, Bailey button style) boots.

I decided to use the gorgeous view from the observation deck as a background for my pictures.
