Salmon pizza

Greeting Lovies!
It’s been a minute since I shared recipes with you and I’m glad to say- I’m back for good! Not posting doesn’t mean I didn’t cook and experiment with many different cuisines over the last few months.

Today I’ll be sharing my favorite new recipe with you and yes, it’s quick and easy! However, it will impress anyone you serve it to. My personal theory is it has the WOW factor because it’s inspired by the French cuisine!

Without further ado, here’s the Salmon pizza!

Ingredients:
Whole grain pizza dough
300 g/ 10 ounces smoked salmon (precut in thin slices)
300 g/ 10 ounces ricotta cheese
100 ml light cooking cream
2-4 garlic cloves (minced and up to taste)
bunch of fresh dill (cut up)
2 tea spoons virgin oil

Directions:

Sprinkle a little white flour on your work station and some virgin oil on the rolling pin. Roll out the dough and try not to poke holes in it. Don’t be tempted to roll it too thin for that same reason (holes).
In a medium bowl, mix all the other ingredients except for the salmon. Let it settle for a minute. Spread the mixture evenly on top of the rolled dough. Place the salmon slices evenly on top of the mixture.

Here’s the tricky part:
Oil your hands a bit and gently roll the dough like a burrito. Cut carefully in the middle. “Braid” both parts in a zigzag fashion.

Bake on 150°C/300°F for about 20-30 minutes.

Serve with the remaining sauce as dip.
A few tips:

-sprinkle a bit of v.oil on top to avoid burns on the exposed salmon

-if you are not sure the dough is fully cooked, poke a hole in the middle of it with a tooth pick. If there are small pieces stuck to it, we are not done yet.

Voila!

With a hint of Summer

The weekend is upon us, Lovies! In honor of Throwback Thursday, I’ll be sharing an outfit from last summer. I was in Nessebar with my s/o when we decided to follow these random signs, discreetly pointing to an Eko Bar. We weren’t sure what we are getting into and the place turned out to be mind blowing! Someone transformed their backyard into a hand made cave bar!

Our scheduled date night turned into a Wonderland adventure! I’m glad I chose this fabulous dress (I made it myself), for that particular night! I strongly recommend you find the Eko Bar on your next hipster adventure in Old Town Nessebar, Bulgaria!

I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for these long summer nights with loud music and cold drinks!

Monthly Insta update *March*

Happy Sunday, Lovies!
Women’s month might be over but as the weather is getting warmer, the real fun is just beginning.

March was an eventful month for me. I’m back on the road for work but I manage my time a bit better and that helps me share more looks with all of you.

If you follow me on Instagram and snapchat (@SilviaMelange), you know all about Bulgarian Liberation Day and all the celebrations I was involved in. You also know I managed to meet my favorite punk band from my teenage years. ☺️

I mentioned my disappointment in this Spring’s Sofia Fashion Week and I’d like to share an important lesson- even if the party sucks, it matters who you are with!

I’m also cooking more so I’m happy to share my weekly recipe column will be back in April! I’ve had some time to test a few new tricks and dishes I’ll be sharing shortly, so be on the look out for that.
March was an amazing month for me and I had lots of fun with all my shananigans! I’m looking forward to April as Easter is right around the corner. A quick trip with my s/o is in the works so stay tuned for that (snapchat is your best bet).

What are your plans for April? Are you exited for Easter? Feel free to share your favorite tricks and tips for dyeing Easter eggs in the comments below!
